CREATING SHARED VALUE
The Objective
This program is to build a long-term projects plan with a concrete follow up, through:
1. Raising awareness about shared value within the group to create purpose and take actions as individuals and main ambassadors of SOMA Group and subsidiaries.
2. Building a long-term and impactful plan within each company linked to their expertise and sector.
3. Bonding with the society as a group and especially as “កូនចៅខ្មែរ” (Khmer citizens) by joining forces with potential and relevant partners from different sectors in Phnom Penh and in provinces to enhance social progress.
OUR PURPOSE
At Soma Group, we strongly believe that being people and purpose-driven can lead to very positive outcomes at an individual level as well as a corporate level. Our shareholders and CEO introduced the notion of shared value, explaining how it results from policies and practices that contribute to competitive advantage while strengthening the communities in which a company operates. Following many management team brainstorming and meetings beginning of 2020, we have decided to create Soma Initiative, our corporate Creating Shared Value Programm, on the 6th of July, 2020, supported by a committee and a secretariat team, all volunteers among Soma Group’s members.
